How the monitoring solution works

Prove your space holds

Show your room holds the right temperature and humidity before you rely on it or hand it over to a client. A one-time temperature survey across the whole space proves it – separate from ongoing monitoring, but using the same accredited loggers.

Example deployment

What temperature should a server room be?

ASHRAE recommends 18 °C to 27 °C (64 °F to 81 °F) for most IT equipment. Manufacturer specs may be tighter.

What humidity level is recommended for a server room?

ASHRAE commonly recommends 20% to 80% relative humidity, with 40% to 60% often preferred to limit static and condensation risk.

How many sensors does a server room need?

Enough to capture each room, aisle, and rack zone. Conditions vary by location, so a single wall reading is rarely enough.

Does the monitoring work if the network goes down?

Yes. Each logger stores readings locally as a backup and uploads them once the connection returns.

Is calibration included?

Yes. Accredited traceable calibration is included and tracked, with digital certificates available in the platform.
